About Janice

Janice speaks with purpose and panache, engaging her audience, whether one or hundreds. Using evidence-based advice and lively humour, Janice stays authentic as she passionately delivers exactly what you need to hear about eating better and making it last!

As a speaker, writer, and educator, Janice is known for her savvy communication style and knows how to connect with her audience. She has written a monthly nutrition column for the popular press, authored articles, books, and developed a 10-week DVD-based behavior change program.  An acclaimed workshop and conference speaker, Janice has provided nutrition advice and behavior change expertise to consumers, the food industry, health professionals, and the media, on how foods we eat affect our health.

Janice exudes energy and enthusiasm in all her personal relationships. She loves organizing gatherings for family and friends and serving others in need. She has a strong faith-based approach to life and demonstrates compassion and gratitude in all of life’s daily tasks. Priority time is always carved out for personal fitness, kitchen creations and home interior design updates.

Mission

Janice knows her purpose in life. Her passion is to motivate others to be the best they can be. Connecting readily with people comes naturally as she listens empathetically to hear the feelings and needs beneath the words people are saying.  Janice is a seasoned expert in strategically guiding others through the process of health behaviour change. She understands how adults learn best and what it takes to make healthy changes become the easy habits for life. She believes that having control over the foods we eat, the activities we do and the time we carve out to nourish our souls is a gift that should never be taken for granted.
